On Fridays We Have Fun!!! :)

Even though we were out Monday, we still had a busy week!! Here are some things we did this week!

Tuesday: We learned about how to represent numbers various ways and made an anchor chart as a class. We practiced each way on our white boards. We also practiced tally marks! Look in your progress report folder this week to see a handout I made for you about this. It is called the parents guide to number representation.

We also read the story: Enemy Pie and answered a comprehension question about it on a sticky note. (PS: sticky notes are liquid gold for first graders!!)

This week our progress report folders contained our normal homework we will use for the rest of the year. There is a homework page on this blog where you can always print extra copies! Please feel free to email or call with any questions!!

Check back next Friday to see what we did! I hope that you have an awesome weekend!!
