This week we read different versions of the The Three Little Pigs. Take a peek at our week to learn about the fun we had!
Monday: We read the original Three Little Pigs story today and made a story map.
In Math, we read the story: Give Me Half and talked about the following vocabulary words: whole, half, third, and fourth. We made our own cookie books labeling each fraction.
Tuesday: Today we read the story: The Three Ninja Pigs and added it to our story map.
In Math we made our own fraction hats and labeled each fraction.
Wednesday: Today we read the story: The Three Little Tamales and added it to our story map.
In Math, we made fraction sundaes to show our understanding of fractions.
Thursday: Today we read the story: The True Story of The Three Little Pigs and added it to our story map. We also chose our favorite version and wrote about why. We also made this cute craft, telling the story from the Pig and Wolf's points of view.
In Math, we played fraction BINGO! Here we are having fun!
Friday: Today we used our knowledge of the oi/oy sounds and wrote words with the oi/oy pattern. We used Chips Ahoy cookies for the o's. Look at all of the fun we had!
